Lucy Letby, a former British nurse who was convicted for the murders of eight babies at the Countess of Chester Hospital, is reportedly under investigation for additional infant deaths. Currently serving a life sentence, Letby has been questioned about further infant fatalities that occurred during her time at the hospital’s neonatal unit.
Letby’s conviction in July 2021 sent shockwaves throughout the UK and the world, highlighting the vulnerability of the most defenseless members of society.
